It seems ironic. I haven't posted a new book review in a long while and then I go ahead and post one on Christmas Day. Anyway, I have posted a new book review on a book that I have studied almost line-by-line, Partisan Rangers of the Confederate States Army. This is CSA General Adam Rankin Johnson's 1904 autobiography. I recommend it to anyone, but particularly if you are interested in pre-Civil War Texas, Civil War Kentucky, and post-war Texas history.
