Before designing the original
book cover together, I knew Don Johnson from a time in the
mid-1990s when we both worked at Bristol-Myers. Neither of
us were in the creative arts at that time. I knew Don was
familiar with Adobe Photoshop, but that was all I knew when
I called him for help in 2004. Don's creative genius, and
his ability to listen through the noise, led to the
mysteriously evocative cover you see today.
