I posted my review of Dr. Richard Sears' Camp Nelson, Kentucky: A Civil War History today. This is several days early, but next week will be a busy week for me and I had the time now. Dr. Sears was very kind to answer a few questions for me to add to the review. Camp Nelson is an excellent book, the product of a decade in the making. Being unfamiliar with Camp Nelson's history, almost every word was new information to me. It has greatly broadened my understanding of the Civil War experience in Kentucky.
